Yoga for Healing
Join me at Hawthorne Wellness Center in Portland, Oregon for my weekly class, Yoga for Healing on Fridays, from 12pm - 1:15pm. This class begins on June 12th and will run on a weekly basis through August 1st.
People who are navigating healing - whether emotional or physical, recent or historic, can utilize yoga as a holistic self-care practice that supports them in connecting compassionately with their body, developing grounding techniques, and experiencing the soothing benefits of a moving meditation practice. This class offers participants an invitational yoga space to listen to the language of their own body and to develop a balance of strength and suppleness that is both physical and mental. The instructor draws from a trauma-informed lens which includes encouraging students to personalize or modify the practice and experience to suit their immediate needs.
