In this interactive workshop, participants will examine how their own wellness is directly connected to the way in which they are able to effectively and compassionately connect with others whether personally or professionally. Believing that each person must define for themselves what self-care looks like, what practices are meaningful, what is the appropriate balance for them – this workshop creates a space for participants to reflect on what has supported their wellness, what gets in the way of their ability to thrive as professionals and in their personal lives, and how they might pave a more balanced path ahead. We will utilize the practices of yoga and mindfulness, including optional movement, breathing exercises and guided meditation – as well as journaling – to identify what resonates in our own bodies and what insights we can gain from listening inside.
